Ongoing: Partners for Multi-State Firm Expansion

Our client, a traditional, Atlanta-based "bricks and mortar" firm with 20 practice areas and an established national client base is expanding.  They have asked us to identify partner-level candidates in other jurisdictions who are interested in being part of their expansion plans.  Particular focus is on the Northeastern US, Washington, D.C., Florida, Texas, North Carolina and Colorado, but attorneys in all states will be considered.


The ideal candidate will have:


  • anticipated portable business in at least the $300K range, or a solid track record for developing billable work;

  • an interest in - or willingness to- work remotely, at least initially, as the expansion develops; and

  •  be a fit with one of their practice areas (NO criminal law, insurance defense, or domestic relations at this time).

    The firm's compensation model is aggressive, yet the firm provides traditional law firm practice support from attorneys and paralegals, receptionist services, billing and collections services, an extensive software platform and IT support, a marketing department, firm retreats beginning in 2018, etc.  Group benefit plans are available.
